Erik Smithweiss (of Grunfeld, Desiderio, Lebowitz, Silverman & Klestadt LLP) and Jaki Ferenz (of Avalon Risk Management) will present and discuss the ever-important priority trade issue Antidumping and Countervailing Duty.

  • Erik Smithweiss will be conducting a program for the CRCBFA on antidumping duty and countervailing duty (AD/CVD) compliance on Wednesday, February 15th. This seminar will explain the AD/CVD process in simple terms that will allow importers, shippers, and brokers to effectively communicate as well as address common compliance concerns surrounding the processing of AD/CVD entries for both the customs brokers processing the entries, and their importer clients. The seminar will also cover important changes in AD/CVD regulations that brokers should be aware of.
  •  Jaki Ferenz will be discussing ADD/CVD from the bond underwriting and exposure perspective.
